I designed and lettered the first seven of these for the Vancouver Trolley Company. I used gold sign enamels on deep green fields front, sides and rear. There was also lots of detail such as pinstripes and tiny airbrushed dogwoods along the top rails.
Boat lettering and cartoon. The owners are hockey fans. This entire design was sketched in place (this is the transom) with watersol pencils and then painted in signwriters "1 shot" enamel on the spot. A fun and interesting day. 1shot
Examples of truck signs and pinstriping on highway trucks. Mixing scripts and block letters creates nice contrasts. Click to see two more truck examples. If you need lettering in the lower mainland see my friends at Norris and co.
This pickup truck already had the multi coloured graphics, so how do you pick a colour for the lettering. The answer was a non colour, chrome mylar. In this case cut on the computer plotter.
Fire engine lettering & scrolling. I have painted a number of these fire trucks for the Burnaby Fire Department. Paint is "1Shot" imitation gold sign writers enamel. The graphics have to be tough as these trucks are washed and polished constantly.
Another custom design for a boat. This graphic was applied to both sides and transom with airbrush highlights and shade.
